This training will discuss the stigma that substance users experience. Participants will be able to define stigma, discuss the effects of stigma throughout our society, and explore work we can do to reduce its impact. In addition, the training will cover why language matters. This training is a good introduction to the topic, as well as a good review for those with prior knowledge on the topic.
