The training is designed to be a follow up to our Addiction 101training. It will help those who attend further understand substance use disorders and the effects it has on the client. Discussions will be held about the brain, the reward system and how substances affect the brain. It will describe how substance use affects the clients and will also define what denial, promises and triggers are in relationship to those who use substances. Case presentations will be used to help those who work with clients recognize who may have substance use disorders and how to help them.This training is the fourth in our series on Addiction. It may be taken alone or as part of the series.
